@reverend Art? I do not think that art is what is lacking. Look at FB, it is 99% excrement. I think the reason is marketing and money. If mastodon had as much money as FB, and spammed the world with commrecials, and paid Samsung and Apple to be the default app, then the nr of users would increase instantly from millions to hundreds of millions.

I suspect that the downfall of FF is due to the high salary, which has turned the organization from software to becoming a prestige job and a place for power accumulation.

@thecasualcritic @jon What I do is to use black text och white background, and I only send odp files to customers and business partners. That way, formatting problems are reduced to a minimum.

If I require more formatting, I send pdf files.

jag rekommendera bredband2 som använder sig av Telenors nät.

Till det köpte jag en TP-link NX200 5G router och allt var i princip plug n' play.

Sätt i sim kort, konfigurera wifi och allt fungerade perfekt.

Har precis bytt till mobilt 5G internet i lägenheten, och hittills funkar det helt ok.

Reklamhastigheten är 1 Gbps, men självklart kommer man inte i närheten av det, och ingen normal människa behöver 1 Gbps hemma.

Jag får 300-350 Mbps ner, 50 Mbps upp och latency på 15-19 ms.

Abonnemanget har obegränsat med data och kostar 249 kronor i månaden utan bindningstid.

Jag är glad över att mitt hus aldrig drog in fiber, för nu finns ingen anledning att någonsin göra det! 😎

I press my menu button, I type "wr" (the beginning of the word write) press enter, and then I write in something which looks 99% like microsoft word before they messed up the GUI with the strange "bar".

If people think this is too much, and if people refuse because the icons are not in the exact same position as in O365, again, people will _never move_ and they show they do not care after all.

I offer them my environment, where a crypto miner would never be able to do the same... but oh no... it's not microsoft.

At least I am able to force a non-microsoft option on them for 1/3 of the year, that's always something.

Most of my customers, I have to force into non-Microsoft options, and every single year, there comes a Microsoft homo to their board and spreads FUD, and every single year I have to dismantle the fud.

Then we of course have the problem that Microsoft gives away their products for free to push out small companies, like mine, from the market.

@jon The problem here is assuming that people care. I often bring this up to both people around me and to journalists, and except for when Trump was ranting the most about blocking europe from US cloud services (at which point I did manage to get an article published) _no one cares_.

I think people in general are not smart, and they hate change. I've given up completely on democracy and the capabilities for independent thought, when it comes to the common man.
