We must pray for the icelandic people. They are voting about taking a step towards becoming a member of the EU, and this would be a historic and fatal mistake.

Iceland will suffer and will be crushed under heavy EU taxes and immigraiton.

So please icelanders, remember your history, your oppression under denmark, and please do NOT join the EU. You will be back under oppressive rule and socialism.

@avdi Go with tor. No need to pay money. Also, know that if you buy "anonymous" VPN from a company, the state where the company is incorporated can easily reach into the company and pull out your details.

Tor is not perfect, but it is way better than corporations and random companies on the internet selling these services.

@kibcol1049 This is a classic, bad, argument against ukraine from pro-russians. "You cannot help ukraine, they are corrupt." The problem is that ukraines corruption and them being the victim of a war are unrelated questions. You can agree with their corruption, but still want to help a foreign nation fight off invaders.

For pro-russians, it is very difficult to understand this.

@kibcol1049 Is it a permanent cure, or the scam where the effect wears off after some time? I'm starting to see this more and more, where gene edits are only temporary so that the companies can sell their products again and again.

What is annoying is that technically it is very much feasible to make the changes permanent and hereditary in many cases.

Interesting. The tech companies are starting to fear that the democrats might win the election this autumn.

As a result donations, the hiring of democrats etc. has started to increase.

And so the corruption of the US political system, and its allies, the corporations, continues through yet another political shift and the sheep are fooled again.

What do you think needs to happen before the political culture in the US will change?

@TimWardCam @kibcol1049 You must not buy russian propaganda. Russia is very weak right now, and that is why they try to project an image of strength. When russia no longer projects an image of strengths, that is when we should be alarmed, because it means they are strong.

@vexo This is good! This will fuel development for a home made alternative. I would not be surprised if Ukraine, tip-top scientists, together with EU money will have develop an alternative within a year or so. Let us pray deeply for this! ✝️ 🇺🇦

@kibcol1049 Russia has said it will retaliate for 4.5 years now. First it was financial support, then equipment, then bombs, rockets, then planes, tanks, etc. Yet no retaliation has ever taken place because Russia know that they will lose a war on multiple fronts.

The EU are cowards. They should attack russia full force, and like the Wagner uprising, they will reach moscow in a few days and the war will be over. Instead we spend billions on nothing while 100s of thousands of ukrainians die.
