@TeaTootler @PinochetsCommieCopter I recall hearing the term "STI" around the early 2010s. As for why, probably to make it so that sluts would have a new term to try and mask the fact that they got multiple DISEASES from their immoral activity.
Just like all euphemisms, it stops being effective at obscuring the topic over time. How fitting.
