WaPo is actually correct here, but not for the reasons they think. It is the libtard government making it impossible to do what is necessary to stop shoplifting. That being lethal force. Locking everything down will not be nearly as effective as having the shoplifter wonder if they are going to get shot for their actions.
Or the Saudi Arabia method of cutting off hands makes stealing rare as well.
