The Russian State Duma has proposed the law "On State Benefits to Citizens with Children" to pay women who gave birth before the age of 25 200,000 (2,260 USD) rubles per child.

The average cost of living for a family of four in Russia is about 206,000 rubles per month (housing, food, etc) so it's not bad.
@BobsonDugnuttHB What the fuck is up with all the governments agreeing on giving $2,000

Ignoring the fact that is basically nothing
@BigDuck @BobsonDugnuttHB i think giving WOMEN money to just have babies doesn't do much since it is basicly encouraging women to have children but not marry.

@givenup @BigDuck @BobsonDugnuttHB The fundamental problem is that giving money for women/couples to have children is not going to solve the fundamental problem of more and more women no longer wanting to have children. There is no bribe big enough to make a woman want a child if she is dead set against it.

And if you really, really want a child, you can find a way to afford it. In most cases, I see "it is too expensive" as a cop out to those who do not want children anyways.
