@deprecated_ii I still compartmentalize that into the "girlfriend crisis subsection of friend crisis" because everyone's so unimaginably boring now, male and female. Family wonders why I don't date, but if I can't bear having a roommate, there's not a chance in hell my life satisfaction would improve with a female roommate (gf)

@griffith @deprecated_ii @veff The purpose of roommates is not for fun, but for financial reasons, as splitting an apartment costs will give you more money in your pocket.
You should still make sure you at least can tolerate your roommate, as saving money is not worth living with someone who refuses to clean up after themselves or has other dysfunctions. Having someone you see as a friend as a roommate is a bonus.
