@Aether this is even worse than "why do we need farmers when food comes from the grocery store?" UberEats is just a completely unnecessary part of the chain when it comes to the food industry. The worst thing that would happen without UberEats and things like it (such as DoorDash) would be people having to get the food themselves rather than have it delivered. Everyone else in the process is way more important.
@houseoftolstoy Uber eats is in trouble because the Gig workafication of the economy has made the pool of people able and willing to spend $50 on a burger meal a lot smaller than it used to be
