@GoyGirl @ins0mniak @thefinn @Owl "The economy is bad" is a common refrain, but I must ask what country in the world has this supposed good economy that increases the birth rate. Meanwhile, people in dirt poor countries are the ones having far more kids. So no, I will not buy that line of reasoning.
Feminism, on the other hand, is a far more prevalent factor in lower birth rates. Countries with more of it have lower birth rates.
