Yes and no. Yes, that should not be your only goal of going to church. The main point of church is to follow Jesus and live out your faith in him. Church should not be off limits for seeking long term relationships, as churches should want and encourage marriages to happen. Having a "you should only look outside of the church" is a mindset that shows single men that they are unwanted. Such men will go elsewhere.
