Having heard the voice of the NPR anchor named here, I am not surprised to find out that he is a homosexual. You can hear it quite clearly in his voice.
Yes he is the member of a certain tribe, but that is a whole different topic (last I recall NPR is disproportionately represented by Jews).
Knowing what I know about political corruption, I can never trust that any report of a politician being arrested for wrongdoing is done out of sincere adherence to the rule of law. Rather, I suspect many politicians only get any punishment by the law when they fall out of favor among the string pullers. They were already known to be guilty long before they were reigned in, but they simply pissed off the wrong people in power or did not have enough favor with the string pullers to be let off.

Every sob story about federal employees I hear is always the same thing.
"I love the work that I do."
"My work is very important and we are fulfilling critical needs."
Of course they are going to say things like this. They really do believe that our country could not possibly function without their oh-so-important jobs. I am quite sure people will find a way to live on without these federal government jobs, though that may not be quite as true for the federal employees themselves.

Tariffs though, they're a tax exclusively on the rich -- almost nobody other than companies directly imports stuff from other countries, we buy stuff in stores.
So the obvious counter is "Yeah, but the companies paying tariffs just pass the cost on to the customer"

When I used Reddit a while back, I happened upon a sub called ShitLiberalsSay. Little did I know that this was by no means a conservative space, but a full blown commie one. It was then I found out that commies see anyone not far left as a liberal, including both the Repulican voter and typical Democrat voter.
These are the kinds of zealots who think the Democrats are a "Far Right" party. Rich, considering Republicans at best are a moderate right party in practice.

The democracy that you speak of, the freedom that you're asking for, that costs a lot of money. The reason why we're able to push these ideas (whether you agree with them or not), is because we have the military and the economy to back it up (with very little help from your continent mind you).
Europe: A group of people who tells us to butt out of their business but expects our soldiers on their bases. Who wants us to subsidize their military but makes fun of us for not having universal healthcare. A people who talk about collective defense but can't even scrounge up a military from a pool of 500 million to fight off 140 million Russians, but expect 300 Americans to do it.
How about you shut the fuck up; as if Europe has GROUNDZ to stand on ANYTHING.

Lego had a study done about how young girls and young boys play with dolls and toys because they wanted to expand their market beyond appealing to young boys. Simply painting the Lego blocks pink didn't work in gaining a new audience of girls. What they found was that young boys want to become the character while young girls want the character to become them.
This explains a lot of current and past events and it also proves that if you want to absolutely tank an IP made for boys, you put women in charge of it, because they will inevitably steer it towards themselves and their own idiosyncrasies instead of respecting the fanbase and the IP it grew around. This isn't related only to toys but anything women touch and any field women enter into, because they're fundamentally, at a genetic level, beings which have evolved to be preoccupied with themselves and their children first, the rest doesn't matter, it never did and it never will, unless it serves them and their interests somehow.
They cannot and will never understand men because they're not men, they don't understand the hero's journey because they're born with intrinsic value to society and don't have to earn it by becoming, they simply are, that being their greatest advantage and their biggest curse because they look up to people they consider men without ever looking down at men they don't consider people, and when they get in charge of an institution or in this case an IP which was created for men they don't consider people, they have zero tolerance for their protestations, because social class is the only hierarchy women truly understand.
