When it comes to the premise that leftist activists are dumping algae into the reflection pool, I could see it going either way. I don't put it past Trump to make that claim, but I also don't put it past leftist groups doing this sort of thing since they will do anything to go against Trump because they cannot accept him getting any sort of win.

Given the past case of the suspicious wildfires years ago, I am leaning towards the latter possibility.

I think the best analogy for the effects of a collapse of the US is the passing of a kidney stone. It came about as a consequence of poor choices, and getting through it will be a painful process that will likely cause some damage. But getting through that pain will be necessary for a better outcome.

I should say that a kidney stone is considered a best case scenario. We may end up with a malignant tumor scenario instead.

ever ride an airport tram, nigga

rail is one of the easiest things you could ever hope to automate, and you still want a human onboard if the tracks aren't strongly access controlled
this is the perfect example from before. This guy realizes now that looking like you want whites to go extinct is a bad look, and just says "well that's not me"

WA state governor in 2004 was a ridiculously obvious one. R won. They kept recounting, "finding" new D votes every time. Finally, after three recounts D had about hundred votes more, at which point the recounts immediately stopped and D victory was declared.

But election fraud started long before even that.
this is "big lie" territory - the fear of addressing a small part of the problem causing a cascade is what keeps the entire thing intact.

Compare "emperors new clothes" where a singular event pierces the whole lie.
someone mentions "sure that's $28, but it's 4 meals" - but it's actually more than that; you're not going to use all of everything shown there except the meat and maybe the fries.

I know it is California, but can this be any more telegraphed that the vote count will be fixed if the people "vote the wrong way?"

I will not be holding my breath either way.

I think it was around 15 years ago but definitely after the 2008 financial crisis that boomers just did a 180 and started telling White kids that college was stupid and they should learn a trade instead.

This is after spending the last 30 years preaching college as the only way you can get anywhere in life.

You're literally going to be working at Mcdonalds for the rest of your life if you don't go to college. Thats what they told us.

With Thomas Massie losing his primary, it reminds me of how the Republican party has been failing in so many regards to enact any actual conservative policies. Every "victory" they achieve always seems to either benefit Israel directly or indirectly.

"Trump expanded the military, that's a conservative victory!" But to what end does that help in accomplishing something tangental to right wing advancement here at home? The answer is it doesn't, because it just benefits Israel once more.

I think to a degree our society has also failed a lot of people. When both parents are working, they don't have the energy to come home and then teach their kids to cook, even if they themselves are doing it.
we would function better as a society if we made people understand the costs of running a business, or if they are unable to understand that, that they understand they are too stupid to have an opinion.
