There is a Beach Party tonight relatively close to me. That beach is usually one for families and older people, but great for everyone who just wants to enjoy themselves in peace. Tonight people will be bussed in, a DJ will be there, and there's a reasonable entrance fee. I don't like loud environments but this seems like an interesting change from my usual schedule.

The white moon finally came out at some point after midnight and it looks just crazy over the dark sea. I wish I had a proper cam to capture this.. sinister beauty I guess.
@Zeb I talked with a few locals since my arrival yesterday and they're definitely not laughing at anyone, but the sentiment about the government is about as negative as it could get. Despite everything the hospitality and relaxed atmosphere is top notch. Big recommendation.

I'm in Crete right now. Earlier I went to rent a bike and while I was waiting for it to be delivered I did some small talk with the owner. Took 10 minutes for him to mention the Jews are behind everything, and 15 minutes for my bike to arrive. I paid in cash, dodging all taxes lmao

Miller seems to be right. In that case, should Elon Musk start a new party it would be a waste of time and money to make it a libertarian one. His best bet would be to make his America Party usurp MAGA, and kick Republicans out of the picture (MAGA is the movement of the American people). But can autismo do that? Can he put aside his ideals for strategic benefit?

Believe it or not, anime culture and/or anime aesthetics are neither universal, nor mandatory, nor a need for human existence, or a need for life eternal. If you enjoy it, good, that's your right, but let's not conflate personal preference with universal absolutes. Doing so, by the way, is a mark of the liberal mindset.

There's nothing wrong with what Russia does. because not everywhere has to be the same. If Russia wants traditional Christian values (for real) then obviously lewd displays don't belong in the hands of Russian children. The infected-with-liberalism mind, via exposure to American culture, has normalized the import of Japanese fetish culture, but that "normal" is highly subjective and Liberal, not universal. Russia does not need to conform to American/Japanese standards, neither do Saudi Arabia or North Korea, or any sovereign country subscribed to its own heritage.

@hfaust @denza252 Like China, India should have at least some type of firewall that prevents their people from connecting with the outside world. While not impossible to overcome, these measures require some committment to bypass, which would filter the casual Indian masses. It's not even a question of liking or hating Indians: a foreign culture with this many people using the same sites and services as everyone else will sooner or later dominate and define those sites and services, leaving no room for other cultures. Without Indians, the internet experience is basically American, America defines the culture and content, what is acceptable and what is not. Japan and European nations have their own national niche, out of which, depending on respective language barriers, many never exit to swim in the world wide American web. The friction between American internet culture and the Indian equivalent has been palpable in recent years, with the American side (not only Americans) showing close to zero tolerance for the delusional Indian invader. One effect of this is the by now infamous trend of Indians using anonymous accounts that speak on behalf of Western interests in politics, delivering some of the cringiest content there is.
@lain I mean is that really a European cities thing? What we see here is more like globalist postmodernity spreading its faceless rootless ugliness wherever it appears. Far too many examples of European cities having unique beauty to offer, even now, under layers of globalist horrors.
