Let people bike on the sidewalk as long as their bike is human powered and without a motor
This will solve the bike lane problem
Also bikes using bike lanes instead of sidewalks make the safe less safe for bikers, cars and pedestrians
It is much more difficult to watch for bikes when walking across the street then to watch for bikes when walking on the sidewalk at least for me
