@db Yes it can, and it can make preexisting conditions get worse and/or reappear. Taking a brisk 30 minute walk outside everyday and getting some sunshine on your skin is probably the best immediate remedy. My vagus nerve was all fucked up and waking up felt like I was on fire with a surge of cortisol until I took some steps to minimize it.

thats a very specific diagnosis - the vagus nerve. i'f never heard about that until now. your digestion was all messed up? i woulda ate more salad. i have bo idea how you came to that conclusion.

@db Not my digestion. Oh well, rip my communication skills lol. I ought to just disappear into a monastery

i looked up the nerve you mentioned because i'd never heard of it and all it talked about how it was the longest nerve attached to the intestine.
before you run off to the monastary, please know that i'm sorry i misunderstood you.

If you want the big guns, do 20 minutes of pranayama on an empty stomach. Free metronome app set to 60bps, sit comfortably with good posture, go in for ten seconds and out for ten seconds. Do that for ten minutes if it's relaxing and easy. I am up to breathing in for 10 seconds, hold for 5 seconds, and out dor 20 seconds. Just go slow - it should be easy.
