@freedompatriot Prostitution is degenerate and shameful. Sex work is exploitative slavery and abuse of women who should be protected by their families.
@BowsacNoodle @freedompatriot They do it *voluntarily*. Because it pays well. Don't assume these women are children and cannot make Rational decisions for themselves. They are strong and independent and don't need a man to tell them what to do.
@sardonicsmile @freedompatriot Prostitution existed before any modicum of women's liberation. Using third wave feminist rhetoric to justify neoliberal exploitation is a weak play. Many of these women are in some variant of slavery and held under threat of violence.

@sardonicsmile I don't care if you disinterested or if you block me. The point is valid. Prostitution is a disgusting, exploitative, family-destroying and nation-destroying practice. I am not a feminist, and I'm not white knighting for them. I am "white knighting" for human decency and Christian morality. You can't argue this is reaping what they sowed, because prostitution predates women's lib. I think the majority of women would be happier in the home than the workforce, but I'm not going to smugly cheer writ large as they become 40 year old wine aunts. Individual wine aunts may be deserving of scorn, but a lot of those women are victims of capitalist propaganda too.
