However, I agree with your sentiment. They *are* adversarial to the Citizen In Good Standing and Need to be muzzled.
Abolishing "qualified immunity" is a start and allowing individual cops to be sued for misconduct is the next step. They should be personally liable and these settlements should NOT be absorbed by the municipal budget.

As for.the cop going to his minister? What a joke. He has made more snap judgments for people he pulls over on a traffic stop than you are of him assuming he has honorable intentions.
