Ofcourse all religions do the same. Difference is Islam is given much more leeway

If someone without a Muslim father converts to Islam they can no longer be enslaved on account of their religion. Muslims and Christians make conversion easy
If someone without a Jewish birth mother tries to convert the Rabbis will reject them at least three times and additionally they can refuse the conversion as many times as they want. And unless or until they convert the Jews have an obligatiin to mistreat them because they do not have a Jewish birth mother
