Well, in America, it's mostly shitlibs abusing psychiatry now. They like to treat any dissent as some kind of mental illness in itself. You'll see these people insist that you need to "seek therapy" or something like that if you deny their pronouns, which is of course pure projection. Regardless, political abuse of psychiatry like this really does strike me as the kind of thing commies would do, and that includes the successors to 20th century commies, like the Cultural Marxists that the West today is grappling with.

Liberalism is a mental disease but I don't think Soviet psychiatrists targeted the group of people we identify as liberals.
