This cat is strange. She never leaves the back half of the first floor of the house, and if there are no people around she just shuts down to recharge. She's deaf so you can walk by without disturbing her.

Maybe the cat only wants to go to known territory so it can not be ambushed if it is deaf
Probably better for it's safety that it does not leave the house

@shortstories yeah that's why she keeps to her own space. She's wandered into the foyer a few times, but she was greeted by an Akita which scared her. I think when she was a kitten her siblings picked on her a lot because she's very distrusting of new faces, but I can't sit down without her coming over to melt in my lap.
