I stg they're getting deliberately more in your face about "No Room For Racism" in the Premier League.
It's all over the jerseys, the football, the banners. They mention it every 20 minutes, they kneel before each game.
And for what? To stop racism in football? You'll never do that because the racism in football chants is literally the most expertly crafted banter ever. It's like seeing an master craftsman at work.
You can't stop those guys. They're integral to football, because there's a natural equilibrium where they get to be racist but also cheer on Mgubu to score sam fakin goals.

I do not remember football chants being racist

I do not choose to watch football and only see it if someone else is in the same room as me and puts it on TV and so on

There was a documentary I remember watching in 2014 about it, where they had people recording chants undercover. Can't remember the name but it was hilarious. They would usually chant to the tune of "she'll be coming round the mountains when she comes", but it was always specific to the region.
E.g. Brighton (the gay capital of the UK): "do you take it up the ass? do you take it up the ass?"
Tottenham (large Jewish population): "I'd rather be a Paki than a Jew. I'd rather be a Paki than a Jew. I'd rather be a Paki, rather be a Paki, rather be a Paki than a Jew (fucking Jew."
Also talking about Leicester (large Muslim population) being a town of bombers.
