So Amazon provides free games or at least free games for Amazon prime members through something called Luna
They have a simulated control with touch screen for mobile devices and I think they also let you use keyboard controls
The controls are absolutely horrible because they make you adjust the camera position all the time
There is this great free game called mortal coil
But I gave up because of camera angles
Are there any games like this where you do not have to change the camera angle
@shortstories 47%
@shortstories locked camera would be great, it seems like a lot of games want precision, and i just can't be that precise on any controller. Doom didn't have a way to pitch.
Just have the player character autoaim and make the combat interesting in other ways, because trying to aim is so tedious. Even Bethesda uses extreme slo-mo aiming for their shooters, and discourage twitch aiming by making all projectile THAC0 a dice roll, player "aiming" skill isn't relevant for 90% of any of those games.
@shortstories for the record my favorite console game is Diablo III, because you can play it almost completely with only one hand on a controller, and even make leaderboards if you're careful playing.
I kind of never liked any of the game consoles I saw after Sega Genesis, nintendo and super nintendo
I do not like the double jpystick in addition to the direction pad on the controller with 3 different controls for directions
A bunch of games on Amazon Luna simulates that
And they have you adjust the camera angle all the time which is just so annoying
You can do 3D games without this problem
Doom, Sonic 3D blast, landstalker
What percent of the new games do not do this camera angle thing?
