I posted an article from

bizpacreview dot com

After closing it I found what looked like a website

securifyshieldward dot shop

It looks like a bad website

I hopefully deleted the post with the link to bizpacreview

I am not 100% sure bizpacreview led to the bad website but it is the only website that seemed weird that I can think of

Do not go to that post I posted if I did not delete it

Do not do what they want at the bad website

Every time I close my internet browser it looks like there is another browser from

securifyshieldward dot shop

that is a very bad website when I open the browser again

When I close the bad website then I can go to a regular browser when I open my browser again

But when I close the regular browser and then open it again it goes to the bad website

It alternates back and forth every time I close it

How do I get it so it never opens the bad website

I do not think I agreed to install bad thing

I tried simply closing the thing and then deleting all browsing history back from before the time this happened but the site keeps popping up when I close my internet browser

It does not look like a normal internet browser website

It does not have the full browser menu like when I normally browse the internet and it might be in a different window instead of a new tab of the same window

But I do not know how to get rid of this window

On Microsoft there was a command to look at running programs and manually stop them from running

I need to remember how to do this for chromebook

Anyone want to give me hints

Might be called windows task manager

I need chromebook equivelent

@shortstories its called smash that thing with a hammer and buy a real puter

@ergo

I seem to have fixed the problem

But the thing is so old they said they would not give new updates unless I uninstalled all my apps which I have been avoiding until this happened and now all my apps are gone except the ones Chromebook wants and it will not let me reinstall the apps it uninstalled because it says they are already installed

This was a conspiracy by google to do planned obsolescence on my computer just like Microsoft does but not as bad

@shortstories Chromebooks are absolute shit and they lock them down to avoid people installing Linux on them
Follow

@ergo

Supposedly my Chromebook is set up with Linux built in but I would need to figure out how to do that

I have been very satisfied my chromebook compared to windows software bloat nightmares

They just did some horrible thing where they only agree to do updates for a certain number of years unless you agree to uninstall all of your apps at the end of that time frame
