Starvation rather than gassed to death would be my guess for the cause of death based on the photographic evidence alone for the Holocaust victims
Combined with the stories of cut off food supplies due to bombings I assumed England and or the United States caused people to die in large numbers in the German work camps
But looking back there could be a small number of corpses piled in one place compared to the large number of surviving inmates who lived to collect survivor payments

So maybe a much larger percent of the people who were in the German work camps could have survived
And it is not even right to blame the United States and England for massive deaths caused by starvation in the German work camps due to their bombings
If based on the number of people collecting survivor payments a much smaller number of people died of all caused then claimed
Let's say you put 100 corpses in a small area but if there were more than 10000 people that is less than 1%
