Putting it on land with attached plumbing and electricity is the most expensive part and a hidden cost in addition to the pre-made home?

@shortstories @PNS aside from all that you'll also need to at the very least pour a slab of concrete to put it on if you don't want the container to sag or rot away in a few years.
Basically, fuck dat shiet! You can buy a real house with a piece of lawn in Italy for pretty much the same money ;)

These homes are usually not put on a concrete slab. They are built on metal frames that will not rot or rust. Instead they are put on concrete blocks and just leveled with something

But yes, they are pretty expensive. There are many old homes in Sweden too for that price. Even though they will be old and run down and not in the hottest areas. Thus the low price. they are still many times better than a tiny home

Here these homes do not connect to plumbing. They have other built in solutions. But they might need to connect to an electric grid.
