You might want someone else to drive you to an emergency room so that you can hold the bandaging and pressure on the wound yourself

Also if you leave a tourniquet on too long and or tight you can lose the limb by cutting off blood flow

I think you should bandage it and apply pressure until you get to an emergency room but not use a turniquet

I am assuming a very specific meaning of turniquet that you might not mean

If it is not as serious as it sounds pseudoephedrine might reduce bleeding but increase risk of a potential fatal heart problem due to increased blood pressure. It is used for nose bleeds.
