Even as a small kitten whenever I tried to hold kitty by the scruff he'd get so mad at me and start chomping down.
Now I have to hold him like a human baby when cutting his nails and he looks so cute and cries and tries to do puppy dog eyes at me
Kiss him on his forehead and continue.
Still bites me though.

Is there a double standard that cats can get away with biting people but dogs can not get away with biting people?

Could they breed dogs that can not bite hard enough to draw human blood as safer pets
If kitty was a small dog I'd treat him the same but if he was a pitbull then there's a bigger problem.
He doesn't bite hard enough to draw blood just hard enough to show he doesn't like getting his nails cut
I do yell at him when he's being bad still.
