I have a hard time thinking it's all feigned. The cussing, blaming both parties in light of boomer perception, focusing more on Israel as being the ones who acted in bad faith by rushing to get more bombs in.

If you think of him as a guy who's inked a lot of settlement agreements in litigation or sold businesses under contract, the indignation fits. Just because the time for performance hasn't arrived doesn't mean you get to be a dick. If settlement isn't effective for 12 hours, you still act as it is as a show of good faith.
