I know a lot of people here oppose circumcision but someone told me that they were not circumcised and that they had an incredibly painful experience with their mother rolling back the skin to clean them when they were a baby when they were in hot water even though people normally do not remember that far back
I think whether or not someone supports or opposes circumcision
Most reasonable people can agree that if it is to be done then it should be done by a medical professional & not by mouth
There are many Orthodox Jews who insist on using the mouth as part of the circumcision ritual instead of doing it the way a doctor wpuld normally do it in a hospital
These Orthodox Jewish Mohels who practice oral suction circumcision have had cases in which they spread herpes by such a practice
Whether or not circumcision is legal
Most reasonable people should agree that oral suction circumcision should be illegal if a competant medical alternative is available
