Obama is claimed to not make good enough grades to make honors prior to getting into Harvard which would mean if he was Asian he would most likely get rejected but he was allegedly black and allegedly got into Harvard
Now maybe Harvard has a lower standard for undergraduate grades getting into graduate school then it has for high school grades for getting into the undergraduate program
Or maybe it was easier to get in or maybe Obama had rich relatives
