A problem with many so called capitalists is they say it is ok if corporations do whatever but not if governments do the same thing

Then the government just hires the corporations to do that thing

They imagine an anarcho capitalist or libertarian capitalist society in which corporations could be good and would be punished by consumers & rival corporations for doing bad and excuse the bad behavior of corporations

They do not acknowledge the difference between theoritical & real behavior

There are many big differences between corporations and mafias (or governments if you prefer). Stolen money is easier to spend carelessly for example, efficiency matters a lot more to corporations as that's how they earn money. Mafias are the inverse.

People act in their own self interest and most people don't want to be executed in the streets. This will keep the corporations in line far more than bribed politicians, who constantly fellate them, ever could.

Is it the politicians that are bribed by the corporations with lobbyists or the corporations that are bribed by the politicians with government contracts using taxpayer money

I would argue that it happens in both directions

And that it is the same team that ends up in management of both givernments and corporations

And they manage things at the highest level through news outlets that shape the policies of governments, corporations, universities and religious denominations

Lobbyists are the larger problem of the two by far, because mafias have far more power (and consequence) than corporations do. They make up the laws and don't hold themselves accountable. It does happen in both directions though sure, but without a government who is there to bribe?

Yes, sociopaths rise to the top in our current societal structures. I don't believe the media shapes the policies of government at all tbh, the government is 100% completely unaccountable even to it's own promises and campaigns. So what if media turns on them? It can even work in their favour like with the orange pedo.

Before you conclude it is not the news media that is in charge I would suggest you read the first two books by Steven Hassan and Familiarize yourself with the works of Tim Ozman from infinite plane radio

Steven Hassan's third and fourth books are simply second editions of his first two books in my opinion so you could read the second edition or the first edition

Propaganda's used as a tool by the elites to influence the livestock sure, but it is not the primary field of the elites. At most it can try and push simple narratives like "this thing/person good/bad" to braindead normies, but again the government is not accountable to the whims of the livestock and can freely lie about whatever they want for votes. The narrative doesn't matter at all when people can larp for it, then do the exact opposite without consequence. It also doesn't matter as regardless of which side the media's on, the uniparty is still going to win every single time. And behind that uniparty are the same people, lobbying away for their own self interests.
