Although there might be a greater environmental risk if people mine more Uranium and put it in concentrated form with a greater concentration than occurs naturally underground
But for the stuff they already mined and put in concentrated form they have to guard it to prevent a catastrophe
And if they have to guard it then they might as well put it in a power plant and guard it
