That is over 1000 years after the individual letters that later became compiled into a single book called the New Testament were written according to mainstream history
The documents that were later compiled into the OT Old Testament were written before the New Testament according to mainstream history

Since Maimonides is on the top two most important scholars in Orthodox Judaism one might argue that Orthodox Judaism is less than 900 years old and younger than Christianity
