@Autumn remember to have Hebrews 8.13 handy

Heb 8:13 NASB When He said, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.

@Autumn the first two covenant of the arcs did bear God. But when the ancient Israelites reconstructed the covenant of the Ark and the Temple perfectly, there was no Holy Spirit. The holy spirit was in Virgin Mary, she literally bared God. Catholicism just says Godbearer, Orthodoxy says Theotokos, same thing.

@Autumn The Jews, sometime later, I don't know when. They tried to mistranslate the Greek word virgin to maiden. The great word for virgin clearly translates to virgin, not maiden.

@Metalglasses @Autumn

So they claim the Septuagint incorrectly translated the word for Blank to the word for Virgin

However the Septuagint was translated by Israelite scholars before Jesus was born

So they would have to either admit that there were Christians before Jesus was born or that Israelite Scholars who were not Christian translated the word as Virgin

But now if the word means something generic like woman instead of virgin then Mary would not have to be a virgin to fulfill prophecy

@shortstories @Autumn This is my take, feel free to tell me I'm wrong or not.

I think the Jews at the time when Christ walked this earth, we're expecting a great general to get rid of the Romans. Instead, they got some former carpenter who rode in on a donkey. They didn't get the Messiah that they wanted, they got the Messiah that was prophesied.

Kikes have a history of killing Israelite prophets

So Kikes would be looking to disobey whatever the God who spoke face to face with Moses said

Kikes would be waiting eagerly to kill the next prophet unless the prophet declared that evil was good and good was evil

That is my guess
