Hubs often out of town, so I resorted to a sleep-deprived race-pill, fag-pill, j-pill rant to 11-y.o. Plenty old to know I reckon

Over 200 fucking mice in this (now formerly) hoarder house. I have no sympathy and in fact built up a very strong vindictiveness. I was wearing my black sweats combo and had the hood up looking like a Sith Lord when I got one by only his tail. I pulled him off the trap, held him up and in my best Palpatine voice, said "I have a special fate in store for you, my little gray friend!" and proceeded to flush him down the toilet while screaming "Unlimited POWER!!"

6 years later, the roomie still laughs about that.

completely worthless if I see one, it's full on Tom and Jerry legs on a chair screaming lol the terror of the plague is fully in my DNA, I can't do shit but stand on chairs and or flap my arms wildly. Someone told me they scream in the glue traps, if I heard it myself I'd probably just drive away to a hotel

Some people swear by these but I've never gotten them to work. The screams let me know it's time to kill something.

From everything I've ever read, bucket traps work and they work well. But I'm only familiar with the DIY ones, this is the first time I've seen a corporate attempt. Are they not drowning the mice?

No, the mice won't go up the ladder. They'd rather ignore it and run around somewhere else.

Peanuts. Roasted in the shell. Wiring them to snap traps works good, real good. The nut can be smelled from a long ways off, and the mice around here have never ignored a peanut. One ate the peanut next to his now dead buddy.

Maybe add one to your trap somehow? Or suspend it above with a piece of fishing line. And the ladder it uses? It might be better if it's just a piece of lumber. Mice won't hesitate to climb a 2X4 to claim a prize. Low tech is the best tech.
