Does the college degree involve
1 Algebra, Trigonomeyry or Calculus this excludes probability and statistics used in "social sciences"
2 Physics
3 Chemistry
4 Foreign Languages
5 Hands on skills ( this includes some arts & performing arts as well as medicine or various technical college type skills such as electricity, carpentry or plumbing )
If the answer is no to all five then your degree is most likely not teaching you anything true nor of value unless you intend to act like a parasite
I am not saying you can not learn statistics but if your degree does not use algebra, trigonometry nor calculus to mathematically model scientific phenomenom with testable repeatable and observable results but only uses statistical models with random results as the excuse for not predicting things with a specific number value you can calculate within a range observably and repeatedly then it is junk science
