Why do I hear about escalator & elevator failures in China but not South Korea and Japan?

After all they are all Mongoloids

Their culture is not the same

The United States influenced Japanese and South Korean culture when they invaded those regions during world war 2

The United States brought the scientific method and christianity and European philosophies as alternative worldviews to confucianism

On the other hand China was influenced by Marxist philosophy tracing to a Kike & Confucianism

@shortstories Chinese engineering culture was terribly damaged by the cultural revolution which intentionally discarded good engineering practices for an ideologically motivated selection bias towards designs or coat saving modifications originating from uneducated working class people and away from unreliable educated types
For like 15 years they were building things that not only didn't work well, but were frequently unsafe and geared towards mass production while engineers farmed sorghum on a labor camp somewhere
This is all recognized as a mistake now but 20 years after the industry still bore the scars of the bad ol days

Why did SouthEast Asians repeated lose wars to Europeans until Europeans forced them to trade and learn European culture at gun point only to suddenly start winning against Europeans after learning European science?

This occured prior to world war 1 in both Korea and China

Why did Japan have to copy technology originating from White white countries in Europe and the United States and partly white partlly Mongoloid Russia to beat Russia prior to world war 2?
