People who show up to vote later than 8AM should be turned away.

I don't want to be ruled by people who can't drag their asses out of bed in the morning.

@cjd

Dang, what about those that work an odd shift?

IMO companies should let their employees out to vote, because heaven knows unemployed people all seem to make it there, and if companies don't let their employees vote, they can't be too surprised when the "steal all corporate assets to give to the poor" candidate wins.

@cjd

I agree. Only issue are hospitals and the like.
They can make shifts shorter and have more of them for Election day!

@Bleukitty @cjd
They should make hospital shifts shorter every day & hire more staff working for less hours per person

If someone wants more hours they can sign up for more shifts but the default shift size should be shorter so that people can have more free time if they want to and make less mistakes from fatigue

They should also teach everything someone is required to learn to become a doctor except experience working with patients by high schopl which they could if they removed propaganda

@shortstories They should do this with every job. This was the promise of computing/automation. The tech was supposed to work harder, so we didn't have to. There's no reason for anyone to work more than 25 hours a week. Labor law needs to reflect that.

They do not want people to have time to think critically so they do not dare reduce work hours for everyone
