If I pretend the national debt is real and that Presidents are not stage actors performing lines by script writers and pretend the national debt should be repaid and pretend the budget should be balanced

Then I would support Trump's stated plan of a 10% global tarriff

But there is no need to balance the budget or pay off the debt when money is created out of nothing

I hope this tarriff promotes more local production of local goods and services
