Allegedly some bike thieves puta second lock of their own around your bike
If you ignore the lock until the next day they will clip your lock at night and steal your bike
If you try to clip their lock off your bike during daytime it might lock like you are trying to steal a bike
Maybe you could use a registration with your bike license to prove...
This person claimed to avoid getting their bike stolen by telling the police what happened and they removed the lock
