1 Ancient Egyptian Pictograms according to some people got converted into a phonetic alphabet forming the almost identical ancient phonecian and paleo hebrew phonetic alphabets which also doubled as pictograms. The shared phonecian and Hebrew alphabets became the greek and latin alphabets used in multiple European languages.
