Here is the problem with paid blood donations
A bunch of drug users who use needles and who have contaminated blood might donate blood for more money and then you have to spend money to sort the contaminated blood out
Now you have to spend money to sort contaminated blood out anyway but when a higher percent of the blood is contaminated you might get more non contaminated blood by not paying people
Maybe just put blood centers in good neiguborhoods and not pay people
