Washington state passed a tax on millionaires. A lot of the usual suspects have been screaming & tearing their hair out & warning of apocalypse.
But the actual rich people of Washington? Turns out they are mostly Democrats & they mostly support it!

Although I do not support any tax if we are going to tax people taxing the rich instead of the working class would be better
But there are a lot of Democrats who make most of their money by lying about helping the poor through tax programs who actually divert that money to increase their own wealth so that it does not actually help the poor
If the tax only worked on rich people then maybe they could not do that but that is not what I have usually seen in practice
