Can we all just agree that boxing and wrestling are better for self defense than brazzillian jujitsu in most circumstances for most people
Can we also agree that exercise plans in which you can measure energy expenditure per time and time spent exercising at that rate are better for weight loss in most people because you can gradually increase the intensity or duration without injury in a measurable way and optimize it for weight loss per day

I am not going to argue with you about which martial art is better for self defense anymore
However if hyperhidrosis wants to increase he ability to do aerobic exercise at a high duration for a long period of time as in the original post
I would suggest doing an exercise where he can measure calories expended per hour & the amount of time he performs the exercise per day because it can be gradually increased without injury in a measurable way
I wrote "Boxing is a very good skill to have though," and made a few comments making fun of BJJ ironically. I was responding to you about the headgear, but the things I wrote about boxing were more meant for the other guy's encouragement. Then you replied with "I would suggest that wrestling is the best sports martial art for defense And that it does not give you a concussion."
