Mormon missionaries told me that for some unknown reason people prayed to Jesus in the New Testament in the past but that Mormons are not supposed to do so in the current year
In Isaiah 9
A child is born who is called Mighty God and Everlasting father
If that child is Jesus then Jesus is called Everlasting Father
Abraham or Abram is also called something like "the father of all who believe" in the New Testament

Even if I felt after praying like Joseph Smith really was inspired by god to write the book of mormon and that the book of mormon contained words from god himself I still would not join the mainstream mormon Church
Because that would not convince me that I should join a church or which Church to join
There are multiple competing mormon Churches but the mainstream Mormon Church claims to be the correct one & that you need rituals through them

As long as you do not say you have to obey the Church in your basement or obey some other authority figure because they are an authority figure and not because what they are telling you is something you should do for other reasons then you are more legitimate than I would estimate at least 96% of Churches

Home church is easier to do right now than any other time in history, we even have projects like https://verylutheran.biz to help those seeking the True Church to start one at home or at the very least, lead by example.
No offense intended to people who are on our team on white nationalism who are also LDS, I'm aware they exist.
