In daggerfall and arena you can basicly have invisibility and regeneration and spell absorption and a magical shield and paralysis immunity active all the time so enemies can not hurt you and you can only die of falling for all practical purposes
So Khajit movement availability is very useful in both daggerfall and arena and argonian swimming bonus is useful in arena because you basicly win every fight by being invincible
But Skyrim characters do not seem invincible
The Breton magic resistance does not protect you from frost damage or only protects you from magical frost damage?
So after a lot of searches it looks like the Breton spell absorption only lasts 60 seconds but they have a permaneant reduction in spell damage of 25% where as Nords have a permeneant cold damage reduction of 50%
It sounds like all cold damage is treated as magic damage so Bretons would get a 25% reduction on cold damage that is not as big as the 50% reduction on cold damage that Nords get
@shortstories In Skyrim most of the enemies you see will use frost damage. Nords resistance to that and the fact that they're native makes them the easiest imo.
