Some things make me proud when I make a piece of furniture . Often unnoticed but I know. ...here you will see to the grain of the doors flow into the grain of the drawers which themselves flow downward to the lower rail of the drawer.. and the door panels are mirror images* .. all intentional. * Door panels appear to be a different color in the photo because they are older salvaged walnut from a building teardown

All the time spent sanding makes it cheaper to just buy it then to make it if ypur time is worth minimum wage
Or at least it used to during certain years, maybe the price of furniture has gone up more these days conpared to the smaller percent increase in minimum wage
