You know what let them get birthright citizenship but don't let them vote or get welfare because of citizenship
Already people under 18 years old who are not citizens are not allowed to vote
Already people who are citizens over 18 years old who are felons under some circumstances are not allowed to vote
Mandatory no calculator math test requirement for voting for all citizens including those whose ancestors were the "founding fathers" of the United States
Make it more difficult to cheat but also ban people from voting if they can not add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers without a calculator
If they can not understand basic math they can not understand how to budget money
I do not want people who can not understand what per capita means because they do not know how to divide voting
A math requirement guarentees a minimum level of work ethic to have done the work to learn how to do math, a basic no calculator math requirement will eliminate the worst among the worst voters who intend to get free hand outs at others expense without contributing anything to make society a better place

Those are all really good points. I'm back on board, with the current state of public education this might be a perfect way to motivate teachers to teach critical thinking skills so no one gets diminished or whatever nonsense. Give them a reason to teach real basic skills instead of propaganda and participation trophies.
It's really frustrating when every single system is corrupted and needs overhauling.
We the people need revisit all of them and simplify them.

What's math got to do with voting? Understanding polls and graphs?
A good citizen needs to be self informed on the person's history and policies not just what team they're on.
Altough general math skills are necessary especially if you're counting the votes and determining if there's cheating. But that's assuming it all paper ballots and hand counted. No matter what cheaters are going to try and cheat. We need to make it more difficult to do so.
