Isn't depleted uranium by definition non nuclear?
@Dagnar It's the dust from blowing it up that's dangerous. At least, that's what I have read. Inhaling the dust "can damage DNA and increase cancer risk."
Yeah, I'm splitting hairs I suppose. Nuclear is different than toxic. We had Gulf War Syndrome, where troops who served in vehicles made with depleted uranium were getting sick from it (which the Pentagon refused to acknowledge because then it would cost money).

Uranium might be both poisonous and radioactive

It might poison you in it's Uranium form then switch to another Chemical Element when it emits radiation that is potentially harmful to you during the switch

And the new Chemical Element it switches to might also be poisonous or radioactive depending on what element it switches to

If it switches to lead then it is poisonous but blocks some radiation to some degree but it could also potentially become other elements
