The correct translation is different in different context
You can look at the strong concordance number paired with Church and it is a different number in different Bible verses
In some places it means called out ones
Jesus called people out to learn moral truths from him then to go about spreading the information he taught
It never refers to a government organization to be assigned representatives to vote on what is true when you look up the definition

It might be the godess Circe or Kirke that the word Church came from and not from the original New or Old Testament Language
