Someone here suggested trying Corry's Slug and Snail pellets to deal with slugs in the garden. I scattered a bunch outside in the garden beds, and every single one NOT in the fenced in sections has been eaten (either by rats or squirrels... probably rats). It's supposed to be animal safe. Anyway, there's a rat or squirrel stuffed with 1/4 box of slug & snail pellets tonight. #gardening

Why can't you just capture snails alive and sell them to French people?
Is there some reason slugs and snails are supposed to be good for the environment or something leading to something you might regret if you exterminate them?
